I love my Pilates sessions with Lorraine. She is the consummate professional who brings out the best in even the most inexperienced student. I feel my body changing with each session and I can see myself doing this for years! I feel lucky I found Power House Pilates and Lorraine.
Lorraine’s instruction has benefitted me for my original goals of core strength and better awareness/posture. I have knee biomechanical issues, and I’ve seen huge improvements in leg strength and knee flexibility and stability- an unexpected benefit.

I have arthritis, and sometimes at the beginning of a session I wonder if I can make it through. Then Lorraine begins her work with me. She has the ability to know just what stretches and movements I need to get going again. I always leave more limber and my arthritis is in the background. I think the best part is that Lorraine customizes her teaching to the individual, and her genuine caring and interest in her clients shines through.

When this 82 maneuvered into Lorraine’s studio with her walker, did Lorraine flinch? Not a bit! She has worked to improve my balance, strength and flexibility. We’ve had some mini-miracles, and I look forward to every session.
Lorraine is an excellent Pilates instructor. She has expert knowledge of movement, anatomy and strength building through the Pilates technique. I have joyfully been her student! With her guidance, I have become healthy and aligned in my body. I highly recommend working with her.
Upon turning 30, there were several parts of my body that hurt and ached when rolling out of bed in the morning. After about 6 months of doing Pilates with Lorraine the knees no longer ache, my low back pain has subsided and I now walk with purpose, engaging “all foot centers”. I move with improved confidence, whether it be walking, dancing, or doing workouts in the gym. As a weights guy, I never thought I’d say Pilates is great, but it can be amazing. Truly consider it!
